The Grand Caravan will be back for 2021, but with a Chrysler emblem, not a Dodge one. One of the best-selling vehicles in Canada changes its name, but not its philosophy. In fact, it will be even better able to meet the needs of your family.
The 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan takes the styling of the old Pacifica, which means it will be more luxurious and modern inside. It will be powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that develops 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The big news, however, is the addition of a 9-speed automatic transmission that replaces the 6-speed automatic transmission of the previous model.
The new 2021 Grand Caravan will therefore be more fuel-efficient with fuel consumption reduced by around 1.0 liters per 100 kilometers, which is frankly impressive.
Two models will be offered, the base Grand Caravan and the SXT model. The base model incorporates the SXT equipment on the Dodge Grand Caravan lineup, but it will be more affordable. As for the new SXT model, it incorporates the equipment of the Dodge Grand Caravan Premium Plus, but with more equipment in addition to a more accessible price.
The 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan will be equipped with the Stow N ’Go system as standard in addition to offering the UConnect4 multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also be equipped with a keyless start system. To find out more, contact us today at Fairview Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram!
